MY PROFESSION

Social work is a new profession in our country, so that is why I choose this profession. It is really great when you can be helpful and try to solve problems. Studies are not so easy, we have to study hard if we want to be good social workers. Because professional social workers are concerned with social problems, their causes, their solutions and their human impacts. Social workers work with individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities, as members of a profession which is committed to social justice and human rights. The main tasks of professional social workers are case management, medical social work, counseling, human services management, social welfare policy analysis, community organizing, advocacy, teaching (in schools of social work), and social science research.
